Eligibility Criteria for RUHS Paramedical UG Courses 2024
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor of Radiation Technology:
- Pass Class XII (senior secondary examination) from the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, or equivalent.
- Must have at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
- B.Sc. (Medical Lab Technology):
- Pass Class XII from the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, or equivalent.
- Bachelor of Ophthalmic Techniques:
- Pass Class XII from the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, or equivalent.
- Must have at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, and English.
Age: Must be at least 17 years old by 31st December 2024.
Reservation:
- Seats will be reserved as per the statutory provisions by the State of Rajasthan.
- Candidates from other states will be allotted seats in the unreserved category.
- Reservation certificates (SC, ST, ST-STA, Non-creamy layer OBC, Non-creamy layer MBC, EWS) or additional category certificates (PwD) must be submitted at the time of joining.
- OBC/MBC candidates need to submit an original certificate issued within one year of the exam date, indicating ‘Non-Creamy Layer’.
- EWS candidates need to submit an original certificate valid for the financial year 2024-25.
- 5% of seats are reserved for PwD candidates on Merit-cum-Priority in each category. PwD candidates must provide a certificate from a competent authority and undergo physical disability verification by RUHS Medical Board.
Domicile Criteria: Admission is open to all Indian residents, with preference given to Rajasthan domicile candidates.
Medical Fitness: Candidates must submit a medical fitness certificate from a Government of Rajasthan medical officer at the time of joining.
