Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this scholarship, candidates must fulfill the following conditions:
- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Must have at least 40% benchmark disability as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
- Must hold a valid disability certificate issued by the competent authority.
- Should have a UDID card or enrollment under the UDID project.
- Only two children with disabilities from one family are eligible (both eligible if twins).
- Students must be studying in Class 11 or above, in a recognized institution.
- Family income should not exceed ₹2.50 lakh per year.
- Students receiving any other scholarship are not eligible under this scheme.
- Scholarship for any class will be available only for one year — no repeat benefit if a student fails.
- Students studying through distance or correspondence courses are also eligible.
