Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Post Matric scholarship Bihar, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
- Applicant must be enrolled in Post Matric courses in any government and recognized non-government institutions located within the state of Bihar, such as: Inter, Graduation, Post Graduate (PG), ITI, 3 Year Diploma/ Polytechnic, B.Ed, Medical, Engineering, Law, Management and Agriculture
- Applicant must have passed the previous class examination with minimum 50% marks.
- Students belonging to SC, ST, Backward Class (BC) and Extremely Backward Class (EBC) categories, whose parent/guardian’s total annual income does not exceed Rs.3,00,000/- can apply for Bihar Post Matric Scholarship. Will get
- The applicant should not have received any other scholarship for the same course from any other source.

Steps to apply online application for Bihar PMS Online Form 2024:
To apply online for the Bihar Post Matric scholarship for BC, EBC, SC, and ST students in Bihar, follow these steps:
- Step-1: Go to the Post Matric Scholarship official website http://pmsonline.bih.nic.in/ and select the option “Student registration” on the home page.
- Step-2: Fill up the application form following the instructions given by the system and click on the save button.
- Step-3: Once your student registration is successful, you will receive an SMS/email with your login details.
- Step-4: Use your student login name/mobile number/email to log in to the PMS portal.
- Step-5: Fill in the application form with all the necessary details and click on the save button.
- Step-6: Upload scanned copies of the original documents in PDF format (file size: 150 KB) on the website.
- Step-7: Finalize your Post Matric Scholarship application and click on the print button to obtain a printout for future reference.

What is Bihar Post Matric Scholarship (PMS)?
Under Bihar Post Matric Scholarship Scheme, scholarship is given for financial assistance to economically weaker sections (EWS) students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class (BC and EBC).
