Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Pre-Matric Scholarship, students must fulfill the following conditions:
- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Should have a benchmark disability of 40% or more, as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
- Must be a regular, full-time student studying in Class IX or X in a government or recognized school.
- Parental/guardian income should not exceed ₹2.50 lakh per annum from all sources.
- Not more than two children with disabilities from the same parents are eligible (in case of twins, both are eligible).
- The student cannot hold any other scholarship or stipend at the same time.
- Scholarship will be granted only for one academic year per class (no renewal for repeat years).
