Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana 2025, the student must:
- Be a permanent resident of Odisha.
- Belong to SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/EBC/General categories.
- Come from one of the following families:
- HIV/AIDS-affected families
- Homeless or destitute families
- Families involved in begging or manual scavenging
- Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups
- Released bonded laborers
- Single mother households (widow/divorce/unmarried)
- Orphans (Specially Cared Child)
- Transgender students
- Girls rescued from child marriage living in shelter homes/hostels
- Be enrolled in UG, PG, or professional courses in recognized institutions of Odisha.
- Have an annual family income less than ₹2.5 lakh.
Scholarship Amount
- UG & PG Students: ₹20,000/- per year
